The Edinburgh Craft Beer Advent Calendar (SOURS edition) is back for 2025! Pre-orders are now open.

Edinburgh being the "city of sours" we have created a sours calendar for the last two years. Both times they have sold-out.

£2 from your calendar goes directly to local charities.

Your Edinburgh Advent Beer calendar comes with 24 Edinburgh different Edinburgh brewed sours each sitting behind a numbered door for you to enjoy in December.

Featuring the following Edinburgh breweries: Vault City, Barney's, Campervan, Other World, Jump Ship, Moonwake, Pilot and Stewart Brewing. Plus if cans are available from Edinburgh's micro brewers (Closet) those will also feature.

Calendars will contain the freshest and most exciting new beers plus a number of classic capital craft brews.

Advent Calendars contain a mostly 440ml cans, although Pilot cans are at 330ml.

Some fun-facts concerning your calendar…

• Calendar numbers are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
• If you are sending the calendar to someone as a gift, you can add a personalised gift note that goes with the calendar - simply type it in the area to the top right hand side of this page.
• Invoices are emailed to the buyer only, therefore priced receipts do not travel with the box.
• The 2025 Calendar design is a combination of illustration artwork by Susie Wright and an iconic photograph of Edinburgh's Crags in the snow, shot by Paul Watt
• Calendars are be shipped UK wide by courier from early-November to arrive in good time for Advent on 1 Dec.
• Alternatively, you can saving the shipping fee and click-and-collect your calendar. The Edinburgh Beer Box depot is at a new location at 24 - 26 Bankhead Drive, Sighthill, Edinburgh EH11 4DJ. You will be notified that calendars are ready for collection (from early November onwards). NB Calendars are quite heavy and click-and-collect orders are best suited to those with a vehicle.
• Shipping to Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland costs more (please don't blame us - it's the couriers). Please select the relevant destination at check out. Unfortunately, we cannot ship outside the UK & NI.
• To have multiple calendars shipped to one address, simply add the number of calendars you wish to your basket and check out with your single shipping address - you are only charged once for shipping even if you order 2+ calendars.
• To send 2 calendars to 2 different addresses, please process 2 separate orders.
• If you'd like 3 or more calendars shipped to multiple addresses please email us details to info@edinburghbeer.co.uk and we will process a bespoke order for you.
